We are authorised by the Danish Agency for Civil Affairs (under the Ministry of Justice).
Bar Association
Our lawyers are part of the Danish Bar and Law Society and are subject to the Danish Bar and Law Society’s supervisory and disciplinary system and the rules on good legal practice, cf. section 126 of the Danish Administration of Justice Act. In addition, the rules of professional ethics apply.
The rules that specifically apply to the practice of the legal profession can be found on the Danish Bar and Law Society’s website www.advokatsamfundet.dk.
In the event of a dispute about fees charged by Detlevsen Law Firm, the client may complain about the amount of the fee to the Danish Bar and Law Society, Kronprinsessegade 28, 1306 Copenhagen K, www.advokatnaevnet.dk. The Danish Bar and Law Society is also authorised to hear complaints about the conduct of lawyers.
Liability insurance
We have taken out liability insurance and provided a guarantee in accordance with the rules of the Danish Bar and Law Society. The liability insurance covers all legal services, regardless of where they are practised. Our liability insurance and guarantee are taken out with HDI GLOBAL SPECIALTY SE, DENMARK, Langebrogade 3F, 1411 Copenhagen K, CVR no.: 41 26 86 38.

We manage client funds in accordance with the client account regulations at the following banks:

Depositor guarantee scheme
The Depositor and Investor Guarantee Scheme Act applies to deposits in our client accounts. This means that deposits of up to EUR 100,000 are covered if the financial institution fails. This limit applies to our clients’ total deposits with the financial institution.

Our terms and conditions are part of our agreement with our clients. The terms and conditions include provisions on applicable law and jurisdiction.
